After yesterdays track sessions I was glad to have a relaxing start to Sunday. Although Race 2 was scheduled for 4pm Sunday afternoon I arrived at the circuit for midday, grabbed a quick lunch and chilled while taking in the surroundings. Our race was delayed, the WTCC race before us had contained a collision, the leader crashed into the Safety Car! The delay meant I was waiting on the pre grid for an extra 40 minutes.

I was confident that I could be faster for the second race, we changed the car again and even driving to the grid I noticed the difference. Once again, I got a good start, overtaking a car off the line and another around the outside of turn one placing me in 5th. This is where I stayed for the whole race, despite being fast enough for a podium, overtaking is almost impossible on this circuit unless someone makes a mistake, which they didn't. But it was an improvement, yesterday I could keep up, today I could push them on and was being held up.
