Host of the British Grand Prix since 1987 The Silverstone Circuit is located in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The Silverstone circuit crosses Northamptonshire and half in Buckinghamshire. The Silverstone circuit was developed on a World War II bomber base site. The 1943 airfield's three runways can still be seen within the outline of the present track.

Spectators have cheered on their British and international champions since 1948. The Silverstone circuit commissioned considerable alterations many of which were designed to reduce speed yet the circuit remains one of the quickest on the F1 calendar.

To this day, remains one of the world's most historic and challenging tracks.
